Sometimes I start pieces and something happens emotionally. I then have to walk away from it. I found myself loosing the journey on this beautiful bat and became a production piece more than a soul piece. Well something changed. I could see it's journey again, so I burned this beautiful walnut bowl that was turned by Jamey Smith.
Everyone meet " Night- Sight"
The Pueblo culture looks on bats as being spiritual guardians of the night and a protector. They are seen to be navigators by intuition and what they call night- sight. Diving into the night darkness to find the truth. We all in times stepping the darkness to find our truths.....just like the bat.
