Tazelwurm

Tazelwurm
"Tatzelwurm”
Everyone meet. "Tatzelwurm". It's an interesting creature from the southern Alpine region of Europe. It's also known as the Stollenwurm, Springwurm along with a few other aliases. In 1779 we start to hear about these creatures coming out of caves and rocky fronts of the mountain sides. Hunting locals and livestock. One story a man saw 2 of these dragon like creatures and ran home to just have a heart attack because he was so frightened. It's said that the animal is lizard like or possibly amphibian like with a cats face. Sometimes described as a cat dragon with stubby little legs. This creature in folklore, is a creature of the shadows and whispers. It's a reminder that we may not know all the mysteries of our world and the creatures that whisper in the shadows. I hope you all enjoy my rendition of this creature. this Cherry dish was made by Arthur Boyd and measures right around, 9 ½ inches wide, 13 3/4 inches long and stands right around 2 ½ inches tall.
