This is made from a cherry cutting board and measures, 9 3/4 inches x 5 /34 inches. Made by a local craftsman here in the mountains.

Everyone, sometime in their life has fallen to their feet and felt alone. I thought of this as my children left for college and I was full of worry about the idea of them losing their ground, but they have us. We all go through a point in our lives when we hope to see the light and find comfort, whether it is your faith, a person or a critter. We all will look for the light to get out of the darkness. I know my children will always be able to follow the light home and this eased my worries. This cherry cutting board holds this image for me. Meet, "Follow the Light". When in darkness and cold, follow the light back home.

These are the cheese/cutting boards. Yes cutting boards! Just flip the board over and use as a cutting board. Each one of these has been hand drawn and then wood burned. The cheese/cutting boards are all different sizes. These are one of a kind pieces of art. Wood care:  These cutting boards are usable art, so please use them. They have been treated with oils so the wood does not split when washed. If you use your bowls and they get dirty, DO NOT!!!! Put in a dish washing machine. This will ruin your item! Hand wash your wood cutting boards and when done apply a small amount of oil to it. You can use Olive Oil or Mineral oil, which your wood bowl has already been treated with. Keep doing this and you should have your item should last a good while. If the bowl looks dry, just add a little oil to them.
