Hanging Vintage glass Shield, for suet/seed bell

Hanging Vintage glass Shield, for suet/seed bell

I had a customer who came to me with a problem she had with her handmade seed and suet bells. Every time she would hang them out, the rain would destroy them. She already owned one of my Vintage glass bird feeders and asked me how hard it would be to make a shield for suet or birdseed bell? Well it wasn’t hard at all really. The shields are made from glass bowls or plates. There is a hook under the glass that you can hang your seed or suet from and the rod is decorated with glass beads.

Shields are sold without the seed or suet!

This feeder is made from a Vintage American Pressed glass plate that measures 9 ¾ inches in diameter.

Each feeder is wrapped in bubble wrap and is packed tight with peanuts to ensure a safe travel to its new home. This why our boxes are larger than the items to make sure we have enough room to allow proper packing.
