Revisioned staircase, Spice Jar, Flower vase, with Woodburned art

We are ever growing on our Revisioned line of items. This is when we take an item and give a new beautiful life, unlike what it had in the first place. This is why I keep everything and have such a hard time throwing out anything, you just never know when you will want to use an item. This time I came across these old staircase posts from a home that was built in the 1940’s, in one of my favorite places to go junking. At the time I really didn’t know what I was going to do with them, but I wanted them. The place had already cut them and planed them, but the story of where they came from, (a 1940’s house), I wanted them! With my junking I always come across jars, many jars. I saw these old 1970’s Spice Jars and I remember my mother having these in her kitchen, so naturally I had to have them, but what to do with them.

Well I finally figured out what to do with these objects! We have made them into very beautiful flower vases! That wasn’t enough, I decided to change it up a little and add my artwork to them. I hand draw all my artwork. NO STENCILS are used, so each work is a One-of-a Kind, piece of art. I then wood burn the image onto it.

A piece of Revisioned-Operative-Art!

This vase measures, 7 ¾ inches long and is 3 ½ x3 ½ inch square. I have wood burned ferns on both sides of this and on the bottom is our makers mark, wood burned in.

This does not come with the silk flowers you see in the photo.
