This has to be one of my all-time favorites for a Revisioned project.

We have been using wine bottle bottoms now for a couple years, for soy/wood wick candles, but never really used the tops for anything. I have kept a few for a just in case an idea popped up and now we have one! We had some left over pieces from the front porch column, so we hollowed out an opening to place one of these wine bottle tops in it and came up with a new idea.

I try to reuse every object we can here, even if we have Revisioned that object for something else and this project emulates that idea. This is our Revisioned porch column, wine bottle, candle/flower vase! The wine bottle top is actually a soy/wood wick candle, but when you are all done using it for a candle, you just simply pop out the rubber cork and make it a flower vase. We use Soy in our candles first because, it burns clean and the fact that it disappears when burned, leaving you an empty container, is the second reason. The old Porch column is the holder for both of these uses. We topped the column with an old Zinc lid, to add character.  The wine bottle sits nestled in it for either a candle or a flower vase. There are 2 corks in this set up one for the candle and then one at the bottom to be used when using as a vase.

The soy/wood wick candle for this is a peach scent.
